Why did you join TBE Exec? When I applied to be on the Executive Team, I wanted to help make some changes that I thought could improve the operations of The Big Event. Little did I know that over the past three years, The Big Event became one of the days that I look forward to most during the year. The people that I have met through The Big Event and the challenges that I have faced are unforgettable. My college experience at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln would not have been the same without this impactful organization.

Why are you passionate about TBE? I am passionate about The Big Event because I value service leadership. Helping others, whether serving at my local food bank or tutoring at school, has always been a big part of my life encouraged by the people around me. Coming to college and continuing to serve others has made my college experience rewarding. The Lincoln community accepted me as an out-of-state student, and being a part of The Big Event is one way that I give back to the community that has given so much to me the past four years. .
