What does The Big Event mean to you? The Big Event is a great way for the students of UNL to give back to the Lincoln community. For college students, taking a few hours out of your day to help someone is such a small token of appreciation but it goes a long way for those who are helped. Many of our job sites have had volunteers come for years and greatly appreciate students helping them with tasks they cannot do themselves.

Why did you join TBE? I originally joined Op Staff as a Freshman because I wanted to get involved at UNL but originally didn't know to much about TBE. After I got to see first-hand the impact the volunteers had in the community, I wanted to be even more involved going forward. I applied for Exec the next fall and have been here ever since!
