What is a weird fact about yourself? I stopped wearing matching socks in the sixth grade.
What is your favorite animal and why? Sea turtle because they are majestic and their aesthetic pleases me. I like to think if I were an animal I would live in the ocean.
Why did you join TBE Exec?

I joined TBE Exec because I am very passionate about the work TBE does. I was incredibly disappointed during my first year as a volunteer because the event got partly rained out. TBE 2016, however, was one of my favorite experiences I've ever had. I learned so much about environmental sustainability and helping our community. I wanted to share that with other students and help make TBE better than it has ever been.

Why are you passionate about TBE?

I am passionate about TBE because I think it is incredibly important to give back to the community that supports us as students and as citizens of the city. I especially love that we prioritize the volunteer sites by need so each group of volunteers truly is making a difference. I love helping others and I love seeing the genuine appreciation of community members when we take time out of our day to help. I think TBE impacts both the citizens on campus and within the city of Lincoln. It builds connections and encourages community development.
